SPR will be attending the Pain Management IEP Fellows' and Young Physicians' Conference from October 24-26 in Austin, TX. This highly interactive educational program is designed specifically for Pain Management fellows and early-career physicians. Attendees will explore current clinical and business topics through hands-on cadaver labs, didactic sessions with Q&A, faculty-moderated panel discussions on practice settings and business management, plus industry-sponsored breakout rotations to engage with key exhibitors.
Pain Management IEP Conference
Fellows attending the lab will learn about current advances in the field of Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) Neuromodulation and where the SPRINT System fits in their treatment pathway to provide significant and sustained pain relief for their patients. This lab will involve hands-on lead implantation procedure training using cadavers and live models under ultrasound and fluoroscopic imaging.
Course Objectives:
- Understand appropriate applications and patient selection guidelines for the SPRINT PNS system to treat the symptomatic relief of chronic, intractable pain, post-surgical and post-traumatic acute pain.
- Develop skills for nerve identification and lead placement under ultrasound and fluoroscopic guidance.
- Learn SPRINT device programming and operation to provide optimal treatment results.
- Understand procedural best practices and troubleshooting.
